Aplomb is my word for 2024. Assurance or confidence in one’s self especially in demanding situations. This painting was finished on January 1st.
Sometimes it’s my faith and sometimes it’s because I have grit and all other times it’s because I know I’ll never live in that moment again.
I used one of my favorite blues to reflect my spirituality and sand for gritty texture.
